What is Dance Based Learning

A holistic approach to teaching and learning inspired by Steiner-Waldorf principles of age-appropriate education, that employs various elements from Indian Classical dance and music in teaching regular school subjects like languages, mathematics, history-geography, etc. This interdisciplinary approach to teaching involves the whole human being – the body, mind as well as soul – not just the intellect, in the process of learning. Nurturing and channelising the child’s innate curiosity, this approach ensures that learning goes beyond the classroom and exams to become a lifelong experience.
